500g granulated sugar

Directions

To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Place the listed ingredients inside a pan, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing until the sugar dissolves. Next, turn off the stove allowing it to cool down entirely. Transfer into an sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the fridge, it will last for up to one month.

For the Premix: Mix every liquid ingredients into one sizeable container, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it best through cheesecloth, making it fully clarified.

When ready to serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base to a mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate carefully for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Pour into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, decorate with some cranberries adding the final touch using a light spray of the essential oil over the drink.
